Happy for Paulinho. He's had injury issues and Tim Sherwood wasn't his biggest fan, but he is starting for the World Cup favorite.

Probably the latter. They're just warming up then they have to do the flag thing, and the anthems, and the pitbull jlo song blah blah blah

I'm debating between the set up below and going home. (40 mins drive, probably missing the first few minutes)

They really aren't though, not in the attack.

Would love to see Croatia steal a point though. Modric has been 1 of my favorite players since he went to Tottenham.

good news for you. croatia is taking all three points with a 3-2 victory. modric w/ a brace and a david luiz OG.

Croatia never scored more than two goals in qualifying. Maybe that's why you threw the OG in there.

I'm calling Brazil 2 Croats 1

Brazil with the late winner - fans start getting restless.

Brazil is stacked in D and functional going forward. They don't have the starpower they did in 2002 or 06, but they seem to work well. Croatia's midfield is amazing, but who knows if they have all the other parts.

Hulk, Oscar, Neymar, and Fred... With Gustavo and Paulinho in the mid field... And Alves and Luis like to get in on the attacks as well. I would say they are pretty loaded in the attack.

But I am worried about Croatia's goal scoring ability without Mandzukic though. He's by far their best striker. But I would love to see that happen!

Fred is shite, Oscar's very out of form, Paulinho was shite for Spurs, and Alves and Luiz are bombscares.

I like Croatia's chances of getting something from this match.

I fricking hate Neymar.
