Yeah I’m hoping we hire a coach that can instill some better ideas in the final third.

Gregg failed when he did learn that coaches at this elite level are not 100% in charge. His ego failed him. When you are a coach for years at lower levels, you are in charge. At the most elite level, you have to let go some. Phil Jackson knew and understood this

Gregg didn’t say there was a vote, it was some reporter who was later proven wrong. Gregg just said he discussed it with the leadership council. Jesus hate the guy all you want but it if you’re going to be this obsessed with the guy at least get your facts straight.

I mean, if you want to be angry over shite that didn’t happen, be my guest. Still hope we get a new coach tho.

Yeah, totally cowardly of Gregg to involve the coaching staff and team leadership in a highly nuanced and potentially contentious decision which could potentially cause real harm to our efforts at the WC.

My point with the pass map was that nobody abandons the 9 like we did. You can say our options suck, but they were barely played the ball.

Which goes back to the whole point this thread exists. If you are going to abandon the 9, then just take them off and put Reyna on.
