I want the mean and nasty and physical US side back. Can we call a few out of retirement?

i just cant understand that, how do you not just collapse on the guy while he's by himself in the box?

Slow-footed defense has been an issue for a while. Haunted US during the World Cup.

Won't happen as along as Bradley is in charge.

Landy got stripped there...and that last ball through was on side.

GDS isn't that good, but he's been outstanding tonight. But he's had miles of space to work in, and no comparable pace to go against him.

taking wild arse shots, that are not even close to being on goal.

other than that 1 goal, he's basically done what he always does...be fast and then clunk it in the box (shot or cross)

are we really subbing somebody in in the 85th minute?

Because you have common sense. This team, and defense in particular, has no leadership whatsoever. This is why the US struggles in tournaments once they face teams with equal or better talent. They may win a game here and there, but they absolutely will never win 3 or 4 in a row against teams of equal or better talent, as long as Bradley and the current brass are in charge.

Sacha is coming in? In the 85th? DA frick?
Posted on 6/25/11 at 9:49 pm to SlowFlowPro
he's created a lot of opportunities, and drug our defenders all over the field creating space everywhere. By far their best player tonight.

Freddy Adu about to come out. He has had a good Gold Cup.

IMO we've attacked well, however, our lack of agression and giving up the ball has caused us to not have nearly enough possession on Mexico's side to get more opportunities. And the defense has sucked. However, if we could have had more offensive posession, I think this is a different game.

What a depressing final. We always make it and then shite the bed.
