once we got up 2-0 we basically played a shell and when we did get the ball, tried to possess it
it was an insane decision and utterly retarded
and switching up who our lone striker was may have confused mexico early, but it kept confusing our guys after about the 30th minute

maybe, either way GDS has done everything they needed him to do today and spearheaded most of their attacks. One goal and created at least one other. Chicharito has missed quite a few chances

The US won't get better and be a legit world threat as long as CONCACAF is the quality of teams they play against. I honestly wish that FIFA would just combine CONMEBOL and CONCACAF. The US would than get legit non-friendly matches against quality clubs and can get better.
