World class AI is just stupid sometimes. I win the champions league and then get kicked out of the FA cup 1st round to fricking Huddersfield town on a game like the one above that I lose 0-1.

If you take an offer from a smaller country does that hinder you from getting the US job if that's your goal? Or should I just wait until I get the US offer?

I'd hold out.
I got job offers from several small-medium countries around November of the season (Egypt, Greece, & Finland I think)
I got a Uruguay offer at the beginning of December but decided to hold out for US or Brazil.
Got the Brazil job December 31st (in the game)

So in October in my first season with Swansea and sitting 8th in the table. Might need to adjust the difficulty. Problem is the difficulty seems to be on point for me as far as scoring goals goes. It's the fact the CPU can't score which is making it a little stupid. Wish there was a way to say have a different difficulty attack and defense.
ETA: still haven't used those operation sports sliders someone suggested so maybe I need to do that

Yeah I will try them out. With the sliders do you play on normal speed or slow or does that not really affect much? I watched a few minutes of the Youtube video on OS with the guy playing with the sliders. He had game speed set to slow and that might be a little too realistic and slow for my liking for a video game

I haven't used them for this FIFA but for last year I used the sliders and played on normal speed.

I started a new MM and the auto save, saved over my FCK saves. Now I have three random Boca auto saves. 6 season with FCK down the drain

I think inflated expectations happen no matter where you are. For Swansea in the first two seasons I need
1) finish in a Europa league place
2) reduce wages by $110,000 per week (even with no initial summer window)
3) make $3M profit on youth player sales
4) make round of 16 in FA cup in first season

Are the expectations tied to difficulty when you start the manager mode like it used to be? Because the ones they give me are stupid hard on legendary, but it sounds like everyone has the same.

OK... I finished seasons 3 of manager mode. I took Seattle and put them in The English League. And I am about to enter the Premier League. After having 5 million for every transfer budget I had hoped for a big raise for this off season. I got my raise this year I have a big whopping 6 million to improve my team. I was very disappointed. I think some Championship teams get 25 million.

yeah that's BS. I think you'll get a bump after you've been in the PL for a full season. Might want to cash in a financial takeover.

i think they got rid of that, but i also think it's harder to get the sack generally than it used to be.
