Fabs doesn't want to play for his arse that's why. Our best winger gone. I wouldn't want to play in this pointless Costa Rica game either. Another arse kicking.

Was he fricking exhausted? I highly doubt Fabs just said frick this I'm out

Fabian Johnson was sent home today from the #usmnt. Klinsmann felt he was not injured. Wanted to use last sub for Rimando for PKs vs Mexico

I feel like we're on the cusp of another "sources: players unhappy with JK" type-thing like we had right before the snow game.

Good news is that we went on to win 13 straight after that.

There is absolutely no way this can be true.

And now our best player needs to rethink his approach to the team? No sir, YOU need to rethink your approach to this team.

This is getting Oakland Raiders management levels of bad....

Maybe because Fabs wants to play fricking LM . Honestly Beckerman should have been on the bench . Move Jones to CDM, Zardes would've been on the right Fabs on the left. The players are fed up with his b.s nonsense tactics. Tbh the games that they won they did it on talent and hustle alone .

I'm not sure whether fans would be amped or furious at the timing.

Jürgen found his scapegoat, guys. It's all good. Wasn't his fault. It's on our best player.

The Bedoya comment about his bad performance at CDM was bad enough. But this is almost another level of deflecting by Jurgy. Fabian just recently came back from injury.

This is just terrible to see a coach single out players. I far prefer the ridiculous optimism that Roberto Martinez has to this shite.

I wish Jurgen would rethink his approach about fricking up constantly.

Anyone actually read the article on ESPN about it?

Kinda makes Fabs seem like a bitch. Said he had muscle stiffness and was not injured. Removed himself from the game because he was gassed and didn't want to become injured. Sounds like he kinda bitched out, especially if Klinsman wanted make a sub to play for penalties as a strategy.

Not a Jürgen fanboy, but it seems plausible. Fabs is the only one on the team that is in the Champions League with his main money-making team.
