Qualify regularly? We have t not qualified in over 20 years, and if people would actually watch some of it you'd see that flopping isn't as prevalent as you think.
I'm as big of a college football fan as it gets, and grew up playing football all my life and thinking soccer was a gay grass fairy sport until college when I started getting into it and appreciating it. I just think a lot of Americans can't appreciate it because of the bloodlust this country has in American football. Which is extremely slow to watch on tv by the way.

Why is it an issue in soccer, but not basketball or football?
I've never heard a good argument for this. It just seems to be everyone's excuse to not watch soccer.

That's what I said, We DO NOT qualify regularly.
I watch almost every Premier league match, Liga match, etc. when they are on, and YES they flop a lot.

Premier League yes. American Leagues? NO. The gist of the argument is that American soccer is not the next big thing. The Premiership rocks. Can't wait fort he 17th.

I thought the thread was about American Soccer being the 2nd most popular sport?
I have no problem with Soccer (except the flopping). I regularly watch the Premier league and watched all of the UEFA Cup that I could. I have tried to watch MLS games, and for some reason, it is just not the same. Better than it was, but not the same.
