But over the last several years the quality has gone down with lack of depth because of lack of funds. It hasn't been pretty and quite frustrating as a fan.

If you're basing who to root for on who you're gonna enjoy watching play, you'd be a fool not to choose Arsenal over Liverpool imo. Especially now that Suarez is gone.
The last few years have been frustrating as a fan but its looking like a corner has been turned now that they are actually going in deep on transfers.

I think he used the term "kit" properly here. I understand that as Americans we're used to saying "uniform", but because vast majority of the world uses the term and it's not used in any other Americanism that would make it confusing, I'm accepting of the term "kit".
Where it gets tricky is when referring to a "kit", does it only apply to the full assemble (ie top, shorts, socks, cleats), or can it be interchangeable with only the top? The exact same way we use "uniform" in America.

Even though I was born and raised calling everything a uniform or jersey, it just feels weird to call a soccer uniform anything but a kit.

I agree. Since I learned most of what I know about soccer on Sky Sports and watching matches with British commentators it only feels natural to call it a "kit".
It's not like calling "soccer" "football", which is confusing since large majority of people one interacts with in the USA thinks of American football first. "Kit" is not used in any other way in sports, thus making it acceptable to use.

This years Arsenal team could have the ability to be great and a lot different than the past few. However, if you want to watch a team that can beat Barcelona 2-1 and then soon after blow a 4-0 lead to Newcastle than Arsenal is the club for you. If you wanna watch a team get battered in Milan 4-0 then turn it around and win 3-0 at home nearly coming back than Arsenal is the club for you. if you wanna watch a team that gets beat 8-2 by Man United the same season it beats City (eventual champions) 1-0 than Arsenal is club for you. They will definitely keep you entertained.

Yes, which every fan would have took before the season. But after leading the league for 128 days you are left wondering why we didn't make the moves we all knew we had to make in January to really be in contention at years end. Disappointment sets in, anger rages at 2-0 down in the fa cup final. Then the brilliance happens and you are overcome with joy that we finally won a trophy after so many years. But after the season we are still left with what could gave been. But we are turning the page.

Being an Arsenal fan can be a bit of an emotional roller coaster. They can look sooooo damn good one day, then just be awful at the next run out.

Here is a fantastic video of some of our best passages of play. The one touch passing and movement was on another level this season in contrast to the 2011-12 season and the 2012-13 season. We are awesome in open play, and our style is not quite like Barcelona and not quite like Dortmund. We don't have the dribblers that Barcelona has and we don't counterattack at pace like Dortmund.
We aren't a direct side like Liverpool nor are we a team that likes to get it wide like SAF Man U teams. We like to play through the middle or on the edges of the box, we rarely cross the ball in, and we miss a shitload of chances due to shitty finishing. But we do try to play the open game.
