I'd take Luis back in a heartbeat, as well... I was getting a little misty, just reading this thread...
I don't have any emotional pull for Costa, so I cant really say.. I wanted him at LFC the summer before he went to CFC.. Don't think he's what we need right now..
Every team can use a Suarez! Only a manc wouldn't have him in their side..

A team like Barca dealt with it an excelled bc they are just that good even with out him.
I know he gave you guys that wonderful 2nd place season so it clouds you judgment, but it also has you stuck with BR.

I think you highly underestimate what he brought to that treble last year, and IMO, wouldn't have had it without him.. Pretty much the consensus from Barca supporters..
We excelled with him too.. so, no judgement clouded.. even with his ten games, he led the league in goals and pushed us in to top 4.. and it was worth it (in regards to BR)

ETA: Costa is the best troll in the EPL by a mile right now though. I enjoy watching him just to see what crazy move he does next. Him and Mou were born for each other.

Gabriel did everything right up until the alleged stamp on Costa. I say alleged because I haven't seen a shot of them below the waist yet. It sounds like he did it, even if it was minimal. Anyway, getting in Costa's face was something we needed. Even returning the faux friendly chest slap was a good sign that he wasn't going to back down. That should have been it, though. He will grow up and learn to keep his cool when it is needed, but he just took it too far Saturday.

I remember 3 or 4 years ago, Liverpool had a bid accepted for Costa, but he decided to remain at Madrid. Could you imagine a frontline of Costa and Suarez?
