Damn you NBC and your greedy Peacock crap

One of the main reasons I pay for cable is to watch Premier League games on NBC Sports. I hate this Peacock crap for the following reasons.
1. I don’t want to pay extra
2. Streaming is a pain in the arse
3. Streaming picture quality sucks with my UVerse compared to cable
CBS pulled the same bullshite with their app. ESPN does it with the FA Cup and much more. This crap needs to stop, we are being nickeled and dimed to death. “It’s just 5 bucks a month.” Well it starts to add up.

While I don't like it either, especially since they used to offer all the matches with a cable subscription for free, Peacock is actually better than the NBCSports Gold soccer pass we had to buy last season.
Same price(ish) with more content.

the picture content fricking sucks though. using my Cox “app” because I still pay for a basic cable package

That shite they pulled today was fricking cruel.
"Hey! Christian Pulisic is ahead of schedule on his rehab and will be in Chelsea's lineup Monday!"
"But you can only see it on Peacock Premium".

The rights to broadcast these things cost money. I understand the complaint, but with so many chord cutters this is what these netwokrs have to resort to.

4.99 a month with ads.
But to the op point, most of us already pay for cable/satellite to watch each week. With all the other streaming options out there it's just getting silly at this point

what sites are y'all using for "alternative" streaming? I think all the sites I used to use have gone the way of the dodo.

It does suck, have to either buy the top cable packages are cut the cord and go a la carte.
I pay $50 for ESPN+, $50 for Peacock Premium, $12/month for Netflix, $59/month for internet. Can pretty much watch anything I want. Not sure I could get access to all soccer matches for less so

Yea
But as you get older, you make more money and you get larger bonuses
So it’s all good in the end

Suck it up. If it is not worth it to you, don't pay for it. NBC is not a charity or a socialistic organisation. If not enough people buy into the service, they will change their pricing and plan.
If I want a service, I pay for it. But, a number of services such as cable and phone do leave room for pricing negotiations if you are persistent. That is the free market. I am glad to live with both it's many benefits and the much smaller number of problems.

Exactly
Free market let’s you talk with your wallet
If you don’t like the service or the price don’t buy it or find other ways to watch the content you want.
People bitch about it but then do nothing about it

What do you do about it again/pay?

Find alternative ways of watching for cheaper
You don’t have to be tech savvy to figure the shite out

I’m not complaining nor do I think it’s that much
But just like hearing other ideas

I use one of the countless IPTV services out there
There is plenty of details on it in the how to watch thread
In short I get every match from every major league
All NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB and ppv fights
