That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Being healthy is a part of the game, anything that increases the us's chances of winning you should be all for.

I like to watch the world cup to watch the best players on arguably the biggest stage. Of course I want the USA to win but would prefer all the best people play.

Normaly I would agree with you in any other sporting event, BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THIS IS THE WORLD CUP. I wouldn't mind Donovan loosing his spot to a 3 foot transexual prostitute that went around biting people if it meant the US advancing.

He has to say those types of things. Otherwise, he's just a huge pussy. But I felt you could tell in the previous episode that Besler was slightly in awe of Ronaldo when he was watching the CL final. Said something like "he's really fast."

Meh. We have already gave our group the biggest advantage of not bringing the second best player in the world. Ronaldo is still first, Landon is second.

You just saw Ronaldo play in the CL final. You've seen him play in euros. I just don't understand being an ascetic soccer fan over being a US fan. And it's nothing like rooting for a player like Suarez to get a serious injury just because. We're rooting for a thigh strain to rule him out for a couple of games. It's like rooting for someone to get yellow card accumulation
