Uruguay has been pretty damn salty about this whole tournament from the beginning. Their coach was bitching about travel times and Mexican fans before the tournament even started. Not surprised it's even louder after Mexico worked them over.

To clarify, I think he was more complaining that Mexico would have the overwhelming support in their venues but I'm sure there was some general dislike as well.

if that's all he's saying then he has no point. unless he wanted to play the tournament in space.
people throwing beer..no point
indicting the tournament because a poor soul made a mistake and played the wrong anthem...no point
complaining about a closer country having more fans...no point
saying the US doesnt have the passion for the game like south american fans is true, although i dont see how it means it was a mistake to have the tournament in the US.

I'm sure his comments have nothing to do with Uruguay having to listen to the wrong national anthem.

that just makes me even more convinced he's (they) just whining.
i mean if you say you think it's a mistake because its a south american tournament and by god it should be played in south america i'd be ok with it.

I'd love to have him expand on which "problems" it brings other than having to play in a stadium full of shitty messycan fans.....which the US has to do damn near every time we play them here except for a few venues.
