Why are they disliked in Latin America? Also is South America considered Latin America or is it just Central America that's considered Latin America?

It is more of a loathing of Mexico than a jealousy of Mexico by other nations. Mexicans are generally viewed as crass, obnoxious, crude, and unrefined by other Latin Americans. A lot of Latin Americans view Mexicans as their embarrassing trashy cousins. South America and Central America can both be considered Latin America.

I get his point about travel and playing in Phoenix being a de facto home game for Mexico. Griping bout the heat...well, their first match was indoors, their second match Thursday is in Philly (Thursday forecast high of 75 degrees) and their last match is on the 13th in Santa Clara. We all know what a blast furnace that the Bay Area is in summer.
