Round of 16
Atlanta won 2-0 on agg
Portland won 7-2 on agg
Toronto knocks out Mexican champions Leon
Philadelphia up 3-0 (4-0) in 65
Columbus plays tomorrow up 3-0
So 5 of final 8 will be MLS assuming Crew dont blow it
But Cruz Azul, after 0-0 in first leg, beat Arcahaie of Haiti 8-0 in 2nd leg?
Wtf. No red cards

quote:Road games in CONCACAF ain't no joke. But they were playing on a shite field in Haiti in leg one. Shots were 11-3 in favor of Cruz Azul.

It's only been 2 Liga MX teams in 3 of the last 6, and 1 of the last 3. The Liga MX teams are going to have their hands full with Columbus, Toronto, and Portland in the next round.

In past years there was always one MLS team where you thought might actually do it
Prime ATL or LAFC
None of these teams you listed are a serious threat to these Liga MX teams
Especially America or Cruz Azul
Monterey will probably frick it up

America only advanced by away goals against Olimpia
yet will still beat MLS teams

Toronto was missing half of their team and beat last season's Liga MX champ
yea with a ton of luck
they should have lost the first leg bad

Toronto literally had a goal taken away because of a bad offside call.

And Toronto should have won the second leg 3-1. And this is a team that hasn't played a league match since early November.
quote:Maybe. They don't have a great track record of doing it lately.

MLS has made a ton of progress over the past five years. They used to get worked by the LigaMX teams. Crazy that they are now going away to LigaMX teams and concacaf teams, in preseason against mid season form teams, and getting results. That didn’t happen up until recently

You’re just being a LigaMX bootlicker.
Am I doing this right?

no just being a releast, teams in the past were more of a threat to the big Liga MX sides

I'm the dumbass? You were specifically replying to my quote about America.

Then why have they lost 3 of the last 5 match-ups against MLS teams?

How many times will this be rehashed? The LigaMX teams are the teams to beat. They are not restricted by their league to sign what players they would like. Meanwhile, “insert random MLS team” must trade “random cash rule” to get another DP spot.
