Yea, he could have been called on several of the for coming off his line.

Luiz was the only Brazilian who had a good penalty shot.
Neymars was a shot that would have been saved if the goalie went right.
The first block by Chavez should have been a do over, he clearly jumped forward a yard or two which is illegal.
Brazil will get beat by Columbia, this game took a lot out of them and they have two players out on yellow cards.

I can't remember the last team to play for penalties who won.
This. It always seems like allowing a team to possess and take shots/make passes just lets them build confidence before the shoot out.
They feel good, they feel like they are controlling the game and taking a bunch of shots.
The defending team just feels like they are chasing, and not being able to produce.
So, by the time you get to the PKs, the attacking/winning team (who is usually the more tactically advanced or stronger team) just feel that much better. And the underdogs feel like they scraped by.

Post and cross bar are the men of the match.

So are you a die hard Brazil fan or a die hard Mexico fan?

The ref sucked?! I can't stand that dude and I think he had a great match.
I'm gutted for Chile as well.

My blues against Bayern a couple years ago in the Champions league final.

I think Brazil should have won it in normal time. I honestly don't think there was a handball on Hulk's goal. I really don't see it, even on the angle where it shows Hulk coming onto the ball.
Chile then should have won it in ET. What cruelty to be 20 seconds and one inch from knocking out Brazil, for the ball to hit the cross bar. I imagine Pinella will think about that for the rest of his life.

That's how PKs work

Neymar's PK style is all about wrong footing the keeper... not so much about placement IMO

Nah, considering what I've seen from you, it makes so much sense.

Also, why is Brazil going for the Backstreet Boys 1997 look?

Never underestimate la garra charrua. La Celeste can never be counted out, even without Suarez.
