Because they poach other teams better scouting and offer more money. Juan is the poster child for this. His style of play fits much better with Arsenal, but the cash is king.

You are correct, however, if it were you, would you play for Arsenal or Chelsea?

Umm. The shirt I am wearing right now would obviously determine that decision.

Being a Gooner is blinding you to the fact that unlike you, these guys want to win and they have a better chance at Chelsea than at Arsenal. That may change, but at this moment Chelsea is a better side.

Good result today. Still looks as if AVB doesn't know what he wants to do up front. Luiz should be back next game, so that will help the back line. Mata did some nice things today and at least finished the opportunity he had. Lukaku did some nice things and it will be fun to watch that kid develop. Scary fall for Drogba, seems as if its a mild concussion and he is out of the hospital. Most important thing is we got the 3 points.

I think AVB starts Mata next week for sure. He improves the midfield significantly IMO. Lukaku looked very good too. Maybe with Drogba out for a while he'll see more action. But some of these strikers have got to go. There's just too many.

Cmon man....next week is the International break. He will start next game. He sent a very nice cross that Torres got a head on. I like him, and more training will only improve him with the team.

The order that I want them gone
1)Kalou
2)Anelka
3)anyone not named Drogba, Torres, Lukaku, or Sturridge

Does Alex not start for them anymore? I thought he did last match...

Also, when is Mata truly expected to start/play significant minutes?

I'm sure he starts the next match. By that time we may have sold Malouda. There is a spot with his name on it somewhere. Sheep, if you are serious about Kalou, I have to question your CFC fanhood. He sucks.

Whoa, doesn't Malouda still produce? When I watch Chelsea he's always involved in latching on to balls near the opposition's box and serving in crosses.

Couldn't agree more.

And in terms of Alex, I think his fooboo last week cost him action today. Ivanovic filled in in the middle and Luiz will do the same next match. Lots of talent back there too with Bosingwa back

Malouda seems to not connect with AVB. I know he isn't happy coming off the bench and has publicly said he thinks Ancelotti should still be manager. He is getting old and running his mouth. I think we need to clean our hands of him before he becomes a major distraction. Mata may not have been brilliant today, but even Chelsea haters know the talent is there. And the latest on Drogba was he has a mild concussion and was released from the hospital. Btw Lukaku is a freaking giant beast of awesome.

i thought mata was great today. he seemed creative and made chances that weren't there before he came on.

made some great passes, and seems to have a nose for the ball which led to a goal. he's gonna be a good one for chelsea, and is definitely a piece they were missing in midfield
