Lackluster offensive showing. Decent defensive effort. Sweated out another close one but a win is a win i suppose.
How this team is still top 4 is beyond me.

Top players right now:
Caisedo
Cucurella
Enzo

Neto’s work rate is really good too. Cole is in a funk and needs Jackson back. Nkunku needs to be sold he’s useless.

Agreed. Perhaps the portion of the fan base that religiously shite on Jackson may realize how valuable he is off of the ball. As noted before, he fed Cole a shite ton of dime balls.

Neto has played fairly well up top, but he played in a similar role for Wolves. However, he isn’t Jackson. Additionally, with Medueke out, having Neto play out of the desired role out wide hurts twice as bad.

Agree 100%, although Cucurella has cost us points twice in this poor run of form. 3 extra points would be handy about now.

He is gone. To be fair, he is playing a role that doesn’t fit his MO.

I would prefer Cole up top (False 9), Neto out wide right, Sancho out left, and Nukuku slotted under Cole playing off of him in the “free role.”

It’s a log jam from 3rd to 10th.

These wins, no matter how uninspiring, may be huge down the stretch.

Absolute shite half for Blues. Don't look like they care to be there. Copenhagen’s manager has outmaneuvered Maresca again. Cucurella and Palmer are on to try and squeeze a goal in. Not good to have to use these guys for 45 minutes knowing we need 90 mins out of them on Sunday.

I get that it’s hard to get up for Copenhagen but damn. Another tough outing. Arsenal will have their way with this side if we roll out like that again. Desperately need Jackson healthy to put pressure on their defense.

Looking completely overmatched early on. And no Palmer on the field. I don’t care if he’s out of form right now he needs to be in the pitch. We have nobody that scares the defense on the field. Once again Nkunku is useless. Sanchez is shite.

Might as well have played no attackers. Nkuku can transfer anywhere that will take him in the off season. I can’t believe CFC has so many wingers that can’t cross the ball.

Cross to whom? We have no strikers. Such a poorly put together team full of wingers and mediocre defensemen. And shitty keepers. I’ve guess focus on Conference League to get us to Europa.

Ha that was my thought as well and you're of course spot on with the rest as well. The thing is it's not like we got unlucky or certain guys just didn't work out. The moves and plan never made sense to begin with.

Fair. But even in the rare instance where people were in the box the balls in were over and wide.

The only guy that has been somewhat effective is Cucurella. He’ll gather a deflection, dive into a header, or collect a long pass that overshot the goal mouth. He’s been our most lethal guy in the box…and that’s pathetic.

Nico Jackson had been training with the squad.

The scan for CP looked good, so he is healing.

Madueke is supposedly on pace for his return (2 weeks?).

The first two are the key to everything offensively. Jackson’s work off of the ball is next level.

He is incredibly underrated.

CP works the channels vacated by Nico very well.

In short, having both of them back at some point (soon), and fully healthy is a big deal.

When’s Mudryk coming back? Can’t finish but applies pressure and we need more of that.

Even if you don’t like him, he needs to come back to try and increase any value he may have. I don’t mind him seeing minutes if he comes back. But who knows where his head will be.

He’s really no different from CFC’s 45 other wingers who can’t score consistently

Dude’s case disappeared into thin air. How long does it take to analyze the B sample.

As for his usefulness, I laid out why I believe that he was important (especially off of the ball).

Madueke is the bigger question though. With him, Neto goes to the left, and Sancho sits.

I believe that lineup makes the squad better.
