Big one today at the Bridge. Brentford has giving us a lot of trouble over the last few years and we’re down some strikers for this match.

Yes. Not sure how that works since the game was over?

So hard for this team to put away teams at the end. Always makes it interesting. That said, what a job Maresca has done. Blues have a legit shot to win the damn EPL. Who would’ve thought?

If the refs are in the pitch, then they still have the ability to throw some cards.

As for the match, Jackson is getting better with each outing.

Enzo is playing dime balls.

Caicedo looks like a man playing amongst boys.

CP is a next level talent.

The future certainly looks bright!

This may be blasphemous, but I believe losing Caicedo would have a larger impact on Chelsea than losing Cole. Caicedo is a more physical Kante. Dude is everywhere, making big tackles, interceptions, pinpoint passes, and generally dominating the midfield. He is not replaceable. Not that Cole is, but yesterday Cole was relatively average (for Cole) and we still dominated possession, shots, and shots on target. Caicedo is just a dog. He’s filthy. Worth every damn penny.

Colwill has taken over the Rudiger role of "frick you, we're Chelsea" and it has been a blessing. LC and Tosin continue to get better and Badiashile has promise but probably gets dealt. Gusto and Cucu are solid in the back and dynamic going forward. Not really sure where Reece James fits any more to be honest, just cant stay fit.

Sanchez is getting better but he still scares me passing and controlling the ball.

There is real concern playing a disciplined high press team. Spurs were giving CFC problems in the early go but couldnt sustain it. LFC can high press and sustain and they are simply the better club right now.

LFC is one or two injuries away from becoming mortal again. With the age of their squad I expect it to happen

CP is a next level talent and the perfect personality for this CFC squad, sort of the KDB facilitator and scorer with a calmness

Caicedo is the Lampard, he is clearly the engine that drives the squad and let's EF be himself and float around

you can see the game slowing down mentally for Jackson, he is so much calmer and under control now. His maturity and development is the mirror of Mudryk. Mudryk struggles to get time and hasnt developed. The game is still too fast for Mudryk and he needs to go. Mudryk is the definition of the old John Wooden phrase "be quick but dont hurry." Everything is rushed with that dude

Nkunku and Madueke are so intriguing with their potential. If I had to choose I would take Nkunku and deal Madueke. Madueke seems too self centered to me.

Neto and Sancho have been gifts from God for different reasons. Neto is brilliant and needs to continue to develop, where as Sancho is the "old head" that sort of ties things together with a steady hand. I think Sancho has been a good influence on EF and Felix as well.

I get that Madueke can seem like a ball hog and takes shots when he should pass. But I think that his aggression opens things up for the other attackers because defenders always have to be weary that he will shoot.

It is so hard to judge Nkunku because he doesn't get enough minutes against top flight competition. He is clearly too good for the Conference League. I hope that both stay around for another year of expectantly higher level European football.

Both of you are spot-on. Except with Mudryk, I fear moving on from him too soon. He’s very Pulisic-like with his pace and footwork but not polished enough to finish. Jackson was like that but seems to have figured it out. I love the pieces and Enzo has done a superb job with the personalities. Nkunku will ask to leave if he can’t get more minutes in EPL matches and I can’t blame him. Yes Madueke is to be reckoned with every time he gets the ball, but his selfishness will isolate him from a group that seems to be gelling and have one goal in mind- playing Champions League ball next season. Neto and Sancho were brilliant business.

neto and sancho remind me a bit of jorgi and alonso. neto is more dynamic like jorgi but sancho is more steady and savvy like alonso was

I dont mind madueke, just hate to see booming wing and a prayer shots when someone is open and he needs to pass. Film study and being shown over and over shooting when he should have passed will fix that, or he gets sent away. Nkunku is treat when fit, we shall see

maybe they go get another CB for next year, but it may not be necessary. CFC may be in a net seller position for the next two transfer windows

A world class cb is definitely necessary if we want to compete consistently at the top.

2nd batch (previously sealed) was submitted yesterday.

However, that is a long (unpaid?) ban (6 months?).

He may be toast.

It does explain his disappearance though.

I was impressed with him as of late. Honestly, he has actually looked really good. A popped test will make someone disappear.

Tosin = leadership
Badiashile = depth
Colwill and Fofana = now / future

Disasi = gone pecan (Marseille?)

He currently has value.

He should go now before he looses value. He is a ball hog that borders on being stupid.

Caicedo has been superb as of late.

Then again, so has Enzo.

Caicedo’s work rate allows for Enzo to be at his best.

Palmer is next level.

Teams are having to pick their poison in terms of attempting to limit Chelsea going forward.

Maresca has done an amazing job of the squad in this position.

As noted previously, the Blues are talented, young, AND have depth.

The future looks to be VERY bright.
