Wait we are in the club world cup? Given our lack of champions league the last few years i haven't paid attention to anything outside England. Guess i need to go read up on this

FIFA expanded its qualification criteria to include each of the winners of the six confederations' elite club competitions between 2021 and 2024. Chelsea won the 2020/21 Champions League, beating Man City 1-0 in the final, so they were awarded a place in the draw.

wow, CFC give up two goals in the first 11min of play to the Spurs with Cucu slipping on both

Blues look like they are completely unprepared for the spurs high press

We are never prepared for the high press because every PL team knows our defenders can’t handle it and our keeper loves to cough the ball up to the opposing team. Forget strikers, we need defenders and a keeper. Dominated possession and down at half. Come on guys.

Team is playing with a ton of confidence. Cole is incredible. We have the top midfield in the EPL. Caicedo is a freaking beast. Sancho acquisition was incredible business. Still, we need a defender and keeper. Badashile sucks arse. Sanchez cannot be trusted.

All said, great comeback and keep it going!

He is serviceable, and only 23 years old. He gives the team depth.

Indeed. I hate Tottenham.

I enjoyed that very much.

Team is in Godforsaken Kazakhstan today with the “second” squad against Astana. Something like a 16 hour flight. Can’t imagine they’ll be at top form. Kick at 9:30 this morning. A handful of academy kids getting a shot.

Tidy win in the sub zero weather. Guiu with a brace and lots of youngsters getting their first Chelsea minutes. Got the W and got the hell outta there.

I said early on that I liked being in the Conference League (this season only).

There are a lot of positives:

1. Rest the 1st team
2. Game time for the 2nd team etc.
3. The youngsters increase in value
4. It is STILL a trophy to go for

A solid win on a popsicle pitch is alright.

With EM no longer backing Mudryck, him not playing (risking injury) means he is out of the door on January. Ditto Chilly.

chilly should come to MLS

Mudryk hopefully finds success elsewhere, seems like good dude just promoted too fast and not ready for the EPL

He is good enough to play for a big club, he just doesn’t fit what Chelsea want tactically.

As for Mudryk, he is good enough for the EPL, just not Chelsea.

He would kill it with Spurs or Villa.

I’d hate for Mudryk to come back and hurt us with another EPL team. Hopefully he goes to Germany or Italy.

Chilly being sold will kill me. One of my favorite players. But he’s obviously done here.
