I saw a theory that Reece may move to the midfield (holding mid? as opposed to winger?).

and still no striker?

Not that I have seen. A Lukaku return would be interesting though.

If by interesting you mean soul crushing and a sign of total capitulation then yea, interesting.

It would be all of that…until he scored (if he scored).

The reality is that he would have service, he is accomplished at the position, and he would gain value, or simply continue to be the money pit that he is. I would bring him in and play home every second, try to get some goals out of him, help the team, increase his value, and lessen the loss (on paper).

Honestly, I fail to see a downside.

Would I prefer to see a legit guy up top, yes.

Who is available though?

We either ride with Kai and company, or we think out of the box.

Perhaps what we have is enough.

Time will tell.

We signed Gusto, RB from OL. Loaned him back from remainder of the year. 7.5 year contract.

We are going after Enzo again…supposedly €120M?! I would rather Mac Allister if I had my choice of Argentinian mids

Jorginho to Arsenal. Welp, they get another former Blue on the tail end of their usefulness. I guess we’ll miss his PK ability? I won’t miss his slow plodding play or awesome negative passing trait

Passes left. Passes right. Passes behind. Jorge, the king of never advancing the ball forward.

Enzo prepping for a medical in Lisbon.

If it goes down, it could be a record signing.

It looks like the blues are going all in…provided they can sign him to a long term deal.

Crazy times.

It hasn’t happened yet.

I would imagine that the long term agreement will have to be in place or this simply won’t happen. With the deadline looming, we will know soon enough. With Chelsea’s medical staff there, I can’t imagine it not happening. Who knows though.

Important: clubs running to get the documents signed before end of the window, it’s finally agreed.

I’m interested to see the details.

I feel sorry for HZ.

He was in the PSG office, but Chelsea evidently dropped the ball and didn’t submit the paperwork on time.

So what is our best XI now if everyone is healthy (aside from Kante who apparently died of a hamstring pull)?

Havertz
Mudryk Fernandez
Kova Mount
Chilwell Koulibaly Silva Fofana James
Mendy

I wish we could get Havertz off the field. I honestly have no idea how we line up game to game. I don't know much about Fernandez is there anyway we could play a 433 with Mudryk Fernandez and Mount/Sterling as the front 3?
