Not really. It's Chelsea. We shouldn't be blowing comfortable leads to relegation candidates. It's not like Aguero or Salah or one of those guys was at our back line. Our defenders got beat by average players. I'm not expecting to be great, but blowing a two goal lead at home against Sheffield is unacceptable.

Yup.

I'm still trying to figure out the Billy Gilmore sub, is that really the time to bring him on?

Not saying it’s acceptable but predictable right now. It’s gonna take a while to get everyone back and on the same page. Hopefully they’ll learn from it.

I mean, I wouldn't have predicted we do that. The United loss made sense to me. We aren't that great. I expect us to have painful losses like at Old Trafford because as bad as they are collectively, they have some individual quality to hurt us. Azpilicueta got abused by Luke Freeman and Enda Stevens all day.

Yeah that sub blew my mind watching it live. At that point in the game Sheffield were in no way put away yet, and he puts on the poor kid in a match that still had a ways to go. Kovacic really needed to see that game out.

What was bakayokos deal to get loaned? Haven’t seen him play since before he went to Milan. Seems like the kind of player you’d want to bring in there.

Frank won’t touch him or drinkwater, we loan ampadu then bring on Gilmore? Is he even a defensive minded midfielder?

Apparently Kovacic was injured, seeing as he withdrew from the Croatia squad with an Achilles injury. Putting gilmour on at that stage of the game was stupid. If anything Lampard could have put Christensen on as a defensive midfielder for the last few minutes of the match.

It was a very poor decision. I like Lamps, but he shite the bed there.
Imho, that decision cost us two points.

Why no Pulisic at all today?

Resting him after international play? Who knows- they looked good today. Tammy is a legit threat every time he touches the ball. Having Rudi back helped. I’m telling y’all, once everyone is back we are gonna make noise. Not sure what has happened to Wolves.

But didn’t everyone on the team have international play pretty much?

Still pathetic. City lost to a newly promoted side with 11 players injured. Inexcusable.

So no Pulisic in CL game where Chelsea lost to an inferior team. Will he get to play next game?
