We just drew Barca at the CN. Not much luck involved in having to do that.

Hell, Spurs had 50% of the possession on top of it.

Yeah, outside of his one obvious error against LC, he's been an immense upgrade between the sticks

Should have scored 5 or 6 but we got through.

I hoping for some good karma for Spurs this year after coming out 1st in a group with Real Madrid and Dortmund last year and then drawing Juventus in the knock-outs.

...but we'll probably draw PSG or Bayern

GROUP WINNERS
Dortmund
Barca
PSG
Porto
Real Madrid

GROUP RUNNER UP
Atletico
Spurs
Liverpool
Schalke
Roma

Bayern/Ajax and Juve/United are all advancing, but their spot in the table will be decided tomorrow

McCaig, are City top of the group no matter what or can Lyon still finish on top?

I believe City need to lose by 8 goals so you can add them as a winner. This is shaping up very nicely from a match-up perspective.

I hope Liverpool or Spurs gets Porto.

Top of the group is still up for grabs.

ETA: just saw Lyon need a lot of goals lol. I just know that we aren’t mathematically guaranteed first yet

Liverpool will be without VVD in the first leg of next round which is not good but I’ll worry about that later and just celebrate today’s result

What are you worried about?

Still have the best defender in the world on our bench.

Jose brought a bunch of the kids along for this match. Including Mason Greenwood who is regarded at the best English player in his age group.

Today’s city lineup will be interesting. Only 15 fit players for the next couple of weeks.

Hopefully not too many points will be dropped.
