Cancel this thread. He isn’t ready.

Thought it was fairly obvious this was in jest, but then I remembered I mentioned “pumping the brakes” a bit.

Still think we should, but not nearly at the force in which I previously believed necessary.

Did you watch the video? When was the last time a 16 year old did that against full pros? He’s started basically every game for Philly since the World Cup and consistently looks like one of the better players on the field.

Those who downvoted this need to apologize to me. I promise I’ll forgive you.

His floor is Phil Foden mates

Let that sink in

He also plays like he’s pissed off and stuff, his swagger and confidence is unreal. Must be the Philly Irish genetics or something

Hope that he can escape the hydrogen gas zeppelin he is on in Man City and get swooped up in the loving embrace of a real club

The best description I’ve ever heard of Cavan is super talented soccer player meets Philadelphia shite head

He may go to Barcelona or PSG, but frankly Dortmund or Bayern would be my preference for his development. As an Arsenal homer though I really do think he would excel in Arteta’s system.

There’s no slowing down the hype train. It’s full speed ahead. Here’s to hoping he scores against Mexico at the upcoming friendlies. They are going to fricking hate him for the next 15+ years.

Bumping this because I called it before the roster was even announced
