France wins.

Norway makes it to the quarters.

USMNT gets bounced in the round of 32

England, unfortunately

If they couldn’t win in 2022 with that loaded squad they have ZERO chance this time

Damn I thought I was being sneaky with Portugal. I just think that midfield and back line wins it.

Weakest parts of the squad are the attacking 3. Silva and Ronaldo are up there in age and Leao is just in a slump. Still, they are insanely loaded.

I think France. Just too much talent.

Portugal won’t win their group.

Columbia is in peak form.

Brazil’s defense blows and them leaving off Pedro is mind blowing. Neymar’s ego is going to help tank any slight chance they had.

Japan is my dark horse but I’m thinking Spain. Maybe France if Mbappe goes down with an injury.

They looked gassed already in the US friendly. Think they will struggle with the heat.

France's 2nd team would be one of the favorites...not that it means they're going to win

I have this feeling Ecuador is going to go far. Not win it all, but these tournaments are defensive-minded due to the lack of cohesion and Ecuador's defense is going to be incredible. I can see them pulling a Greece for a long while. If they park the bus, it won't be easy for any team in this tournament to score. They will need PK luck but that's doable.

I think Portugal is my favorite with my heart still pulling for the Dutch. I made this same mistake last Euro, though, so that's basically a guarantee neither wins.

That economist who has predicted the last 3 World Cup winners is predicting a Portugal Netherlands final.

They have been grouped in the last two world cups and this is their weakest squad in probably 50 years lol

Portugal could be almost unstoppable if they can somehow get Ronaldo to be a 70th minute sub. But that won’t happen. They play so much better without him.

How you feeling about your boys? I could see Messi handing the torch to Lamine story line playing out honestly.

Colombia and Ecuador (defense like slo said) can go far. Colombia is just always so solid.

Uruguay is a toothless tiger at this point. Bielsa is washed, sadly… but would love to be wrong! I want to see an all out aggressive Uruguay show up and go for broke.

Brazil..nope, that team will eat itself from the inside as soon as something goes sideways. Neymar is such a loser.

Paraguay will probably tie everyone at 0-0 and sneak into the round of 32

frick I wish Chile were still good. It’s been like 20-21 LSU since 2017 sadly. Had a solid showing vs Portugal over the weekend though and got Leao to lose his marbles

Agreed. I think France would be so much scarier and stronger without Mbappe. Brazil would be a lot better without Neymar hanging around too.

Paraguay v. Ecuador is the immovable object v. The unstoppable force. If scores could end negatively it would be in that game

Argentina is only dangerous bc of their scheme. They trap the wings and everyone knows exactly where they need to be. The team is loaded with experience. But they would be lucky to survive the first round of knockout. Everyone is hurt. Our backline is holding together by a thread. One injury and we’re toast.

Yeah but Chile has some great players coming up so I think they will be fine going forward. And they had some exciting possessions against Portugal

If they had a Forward that was reliable, I'd fancy a possible semi-final run. Independiente del Valle has become a factory.

I much as I’d hate it, I think Brazil.
Europeans wilt in this heat. Perhaps
France will prove me wrong. I’d
love to see a European/South American
final though.

Vitinha looks like the best player on the planet right now, and he's going to have Neves right beside him who's been right beside him all year at the club level.

I think you're going to have to find some goals from set pieces or on the counter against portugal because they're going to dominate the ball.

Their attacking 3 is lacking, but Bruno is probably the best scoring midfielder in the tournament
