An "exact science" is utter garbage, but I think the poster redacted that statement and said that it's pretty easy (normally) to understand why a certain amount of time is added. It's more acquired knowledge through experience than a "science."

Honestly, it's a bit weird. I don't really have anything against Brazil, and I'm not a fan of Germany, but I kind of want to see it get worse.
5-2 would be an insane result in retrospect, but 8-0 (or something like that) would just be beyond historic.
