Again, what purpose would that serve?
If they wanted the same contract as the men, they were offered it and could have had it.

What was actually paid out?
For the women, yes because the won. Men, no because they didn't.

They were not offered the same contract as the men. They were offered a similarly structured "pay-to-play" contract. What they wanted the USSF could not actually afford, for good reason.

The WC payouts, just from the tournament alone, represented a total of about $240,000 per player, which amounts to a payout double of what the men would earn if they just made the tournament. From every conceivable angle, the USSF pays the women far more than their likely market value, given the respective popularity of each sport.

After seeing how average these women are at soccer compared to men, they don’t deserve more money.

Shocked this hadn't made it on here yet.
Thanks for the article. As for the info in it, the author may as well have gotten it from here, as we were pointing that shite out when that pithy bitch started running her trap.

If the women are average, what does that make the men? 4 world cups to 0
I would suggest that, if the prize money isn’t there, it’s the fault of other countries for not watching.

The competition in the women’s game has pretty much always been shite. Until recently hardly any other country besides the US gave a shite about women’s soccer

In 60 years the USWNT will be just like the English men’s team chanting “it’s coming home” when they haven’t won anything in decades. The rest of the world is catching up quickly.

I will continue to pull for them to lose as long as Rapinhoe is on the team. I would get banned for speaking of what I wish would happen to that bitch.

Anyone else get irrationally angry when they see the commercial for that LFG documentary?

I do. I feel like Jesse from Breaking Bad when he is just screaming "He can't keep getting away with it!". How can these women continue to pull the wool over America's eyes?

I think it is split up right now.
It is, but in a nonsensical way. Revenue from broadcasts currently isn't applied to USWNT for their games and USMNT for their games. Instead, USSF combines all broadcast revenue, then splits it 50/50 between the two teams.
I'd be curious to see what each teams total and average pay per player as a % of revenue that each team brings in which would require splitting the broadcast revenue properly, based on how much each team pulls in and not some arbitrary 50/50 split.
