We'll keep him at least another year imo. Then we'll sell him to Barca. I think he can be healthy if we let him get healthy before playing him.
There was an interesting article on the BBC football site about some guy who used to work at Man City for Hughes who is a training guru. Says many players are overworked and that in order for your best XI to play every match you have to take practice back a notch or two. On my phone or I'd post the link. Craig Bellamy swears by the guy.

Here's the link.

Considering Arsenal's injuries woes every year, perhaps Wenger should look into this.

That's very, very interesting. I wonder how soon it will be before all EPL teams have this. I remember reading about this guy on Blues Forum, but didn't really give it any thought. now, with Kolorav getting hurt at the beginning of the year, Michael Johnson just returning, the mysterious illnesses of Wayne Bridge etc. we need him too.
Bellamy played well all year last year. First time in a while he never really got hurt. fwiw

good interview with Jack Wilshere
Short analysis from last night's match. I think Arsenal Column is my fav. technical blog.
Gibbs definitely out for United game
@Henry Winter
Some good news on Gibbs. #afc confirm different ankle to last season's problem.
Check out Abou Diaby's smirk as Eboue does his ballerina stretches:

Patrice Evra have launched a scathing attack on Arsenal to French TV. Set to be aired tonight. All over English papers tomorrow.
Thanks in advance for the motivation, Patty Cakes.
e.g.:
Patrice Evra: “Arsenal is only a good Academy. They play good football but win nothing. In 10 years we will forget about that club.”
Patrice Evra: “At United we only watch for Chelsea results”.

This is really bad news.
Arsenal Appeal FIFA's Rejection of Wellington Silva's Work Permit
To lose him for 3 years would be a huge loss. I hope the appeal works, but I doubt it. If Man United were trying to sign him I'm sure his application would go right on through...

shite. there was such an air of confidence about him being signed. this is sorta out of no where in terms of expectations.

Well looks like our Wellington Silva appeal failed. This sucks. It's such a load of crap. How does the "special talent" exception apply to Denilson, but not to this kid? From all I've read, this kid is on the fast track to becoming a star. Hopefully he'll tear up the Spanish Segunda Division for the next three years...

I would assume he'd be an understudy for a couple of years and then take over. We've had a pretty standard cycle at RB since Wenger took over. When we had Lauren we didn't need Eboue. When we had Eboue we didn't need Sagna. The cycle continues I suppose.

How does Wenger sign all of these kids? Does he have the best scouting network in Europe or what?
Also, I have a trivia question: When is the last time Arsenal defeated Chelsea or Manchester United in the Premier League?

2008, vs Man U. LINK Worked this goal beautifully. 16 passes against a really good Man U defense. Wish we could break teams down like this consistently.

Well done - that was fast! It has been two calendar years now. The last time the Gunners got any points against these teams was a 0-0 tie with Man U near the end of the 08-09 season. We are generally healthy, so there should be no more excuses.

Our defensive frailties leave plenty of questions. Who knows if we have the composure to go there and break them down like we should be able to? Last year in this fixture we should have won. Diaby and Almunia made some gigantic mistakes.
