Although his attempt was beautiful on that left foot slide over to the right foot flick. I love the variety of the goals scored too, another defender scoring, artetas blast, and another gorgeous assist from song

I have a philosophical quandry about RvP scoring. I want him to keep notching his tally to take things to record breaking levels, but I also love seeing us get some goalscoring variety

Well, we are 12 back of MCFC and we play them, so we'd have to make up 10 points (because they kill us on GD) in 7 games if we can beat them. So highly, highly unlikely. We'd have to win out and them only get 11 points in 8 games. I would say impossible, but I never saw our recent stretch of play coming.

Goetze signed an extension with Borussia Dortmund so there goes that pipe dream.
All the rumors point to us officially announcing the Podolski move sometime this week and Vertoghen may not be far behind. Interesting pickup, he'd be. Seems too talented/expensive to be our utility CB/DM. Skilled player though and considering our injury history, I don't mind the depth.
