Well this means we are surely bringing in a left winger.

Also another rumor that popped up is us going for Konsa.

Likely going to need another CB if Saliba is truly having a back procedure after the WC.

Also, Dec has some kind of nerve issue that is affecting his hamstring and back. So definitely need to find a midfielder that can eat some of his minutes

Any of you baws follow Tim Stillman and Phil Costa on X? These dudes are losing their fricking minds over the balogun red being rescinded. Pointed out to one of them that they wouldn't be this ridiculous if arsenal was on the end of a historically bad call (of which we've had quite a few). Remember when the refs forgot to draw the offside lines on Brentfords Pinnock and they equalized (Trossards first game at Arsenal). Those 2 points cost us the league.

Lots of Europeans (or Eurocentric) folks losing their minds for sure.

They're just mad it benefitted the US.

Ronaldo got his 3 game ban rescinded before this World Cup even started and no one said a peep

frick the Europeans.

Last night a Mexican did a studs up challenge on Saka and wasn't even called a foul. I was fricking livid.

If that's not a foul, then neither was Balogun's.

Selfishly want England and France to get knocked out immediately.

Rice, Saka, and Saliba all need rest.

Our Spanish players aren't playing so not an issue. Odeegard has had enough rest in the past two years being so hurt.

They just did it for Caicedo and Otamendi.

They both got red cards in the final qualifying game and neither served their suspension for this world cup.

Yeah he's been good for them.

The defense was too lazy at times. Dest didn't challenge for that ball that didn't get cleared for the first and got beat by Trossard on the second.

Just can't switch off defensively, we all know this from watching Arsenal and the premier league. It sucks but the US still impressed me this tournament.

Oh and Merino scored for Spain. Nice to see a lot of current and former Arsenal players having an impact for their teams.

Such a baller who can make something out of nothing in big moments. Very sad to see him go...

I really hope we can get a revolutionary LW to replace him. Would love Barcola or Tzolis to fill in the starting LW position.

Arsenal are set to complete the signing of goalkeeper Illan Meslier on a free transfer from Leeds.

Wonder if this means we will move kepa on.

As things stand Meslier will arrive as third-choice goalkeeper behind David Raya and Arrizabalaga.

But if Arrizabalaga does depart, then Meslier could be promoted into the number two role.

Meslier's imminent arrival will see teenage goalkeeper Tommy Setford leave on loan this summer.

The guy we are about to sign will be our #2 for sure. Kepa wants real minutes.

I don't think we will see Arsenal do crazy business until the WC is over and all the pretty well named agents and players get back.

I'm not very intrigued by the move to be honest. Meslier hasn't played a professional game since May 2025. Got benched for a 35+ year old.

I assume they are betting they can work with him, but he absolutely can't be our #2 (or at least locked in)
