I'd take a draw back to the Emirates all the way to the final.
It kind of is what it is right now. Maybe if we get the league cup win it relaxes them a bit.

I miss seeing MLS marauding through the midfield in the CL last year.
Just don't get why we can't give him a shot there. Let him be the left 8 and play Rice as the 6

New deal incoming for Declan.

I think Rice is a good example of how this Arsenal team is different compared to how a lot of the fans became fans of Arsenal.
He is not a player Wenger would have bought. I even struggled at first liking him. I'm more of a Ramsey guy. But a Rice type player is why we aren't getting pumped. He's not as easy on the eye, probably not going to see him back heel a ball in the net after being on the pitch for less than a minute. But it's affective. And he's as good at dead ball scenarios as anyone. And just being available is a good attribute.
But it's important that we find a player that can play instead of him at times, and one that can play with him and be more if the creative outlet. Midfield should be a priority in the summer.

Don't disgrace my goat Aaron like this. It's not his fault Wenger constantly left him squandering out on the flanks
Edit: But on a real note, as much as I still cherish my signed gunners kit by Ramsey, Declan is a world class player. Saying he isn't a Wenger guy is pretty foolish

Rice is Vieira but we're playing him as Ramsey.
It's very much a dichotomy right now, almost every PL is playing man to man out of possession, which requires big, fast, strong dudes. But the answer to man to man is technical players that can dribble and evade pressure. That rub is that those guys typically don't defend well in man to man pressure because they aren't big, strong, and fast.
You need guys like Rice out there, but you also need the MLS/Eze guys to combat it.
Our team and Arteta has figured it out defensively (OOP), it just lacks so much IN possession. Too many of our guys are limited it the keep ball/dribble portion of the game. It's why Calafiori, Ben White and to a lesser degree Saliba make so much of a difference in our buildup.

Massive match today boys. Need a win at all costs. Gonna be tough. Everton been pretty good recently

Three points by hook or crook. I don’t care about anything else. A ten point lead would put City in a must win situation later today.

Big fan of the lineup.
Ray
Timber
Saliba
Gabriel
Calafiori
Rice
Zubi
Eze
Saka
Noni
Kai
Still no Odegaard or Tross
Norgaard missing is weird, not that he plays
our only midfielder on the bench would potentially be MLS

This was my doing. I put a bet in for gyok to score and Arsenal to win.

Off the bench for the winner!! That front four has serious potential.

Gyokeres is definitely scoring off the bench today. Love him coming on against a tired defense. Plus should let us control the game well late with his hold up play.
Our bench is disgustingly deep. Damn

hey look
Raya punting it downfield to absolutely no one when he could have easily passed it out to a teammate…
and they almost scored from it

Yeah, makes 0 sense.
We've had no problem building from the back, gotta keep that going.

So stupid that no one has any idea what a foul or a pen is, or even a handball from week to week.
Just making it up as we go

This is a Ben White game.
He must be not available even if on the bench. Timber off for Mosquera
