Interesting the Gyokeres stuff won’t die.
Could be a smoke screen.
I don’t think this will happen but with the left wing market not that great. Does Arsenal buy both?
Essentially it could be cheaper overall package than a Nico or rodrygo and one of the strikers. And those two seem like long shots at this point.
I know it sounds crazy, but we really don’t have a proper striker at the club. Jesus has never been a high volume goal scorer.

0 chance we get both.
I think the stuff coming out recently is 100% agent driven
I don’t think the Rodrygo thing will be sorted till after Club World Cup is over, see how much he actually plays LW where he wants

One thing I forgot about was if players like zinchenko and Partey aren’t in the team next season, it frees up a bunch of wages.

But we will also need to find replacements for those two, especially partey. He was supposed to be our depth piece

Not for zinchenko.
Zinny was healthy and Arteta started MLS instead. A teenager that had never played left back at that high of level. I only want to see a defender purchased if we sell Kiwior.
Also wouldn't be surprised if we left a spot open for max dowman.
All of this Striker saga makes me think Gyokeres was the first choice. To me it makes no sense why we haven't pushed Sesko forward if he has been the pick since 2024.
The other option is its mid june and they havent decided on what forward they want, which i call incompetence.

I was moreso speaking about Partey, which is why I pointed him out specifically

Nico Williams interest has cooled, looks like they are putting all the eggs in the Rodrygo basket, which seems eerily similar to the last 2 windows with Nico

EXCLUSIVE: Serie A side Parma have decided to appoint Carlos Cuesta as new manager!
Talks at final stages with Arsenal to get green light and appoint 29 year old Spanish manager who’s now leaving Assistant Head Coach role at Arsenal.
Record appointment for Serie A.

Cuesta was a solid assistant. So solid that he got a manager job at 29! Props to him!

If he leaves we would prob need another midfielder. But the club might put that one off. Depends on if we can sell zinny, vieira ect.
But I really dont know what their plan for him leaving would be.

My guess is they’d bring in another LB (Hato) and play MLS at midfield to spare Zubi
Also been talk of Lucian Agoume. 22 YO midfielder from Sevilla

12+ points from that start is a win. Just brutal.

This is why you got to get the players in before pre season.
We cant afford to drop a lot of points early on.
We dont do well at old Trafford. Plus you have liverpool, city and newcastle.

MLS signing a new deal is glorious. Not sure about yall, but personally I see 6-0 to start the season and our hopes / expectations get out of hand like usual in the early Fall.

Hard to know because we haven't signed anyone while some of those teams are strengthening.
