Gyokeres really wants arsenal, or at least to leave sporting. Supposedly his agent is threatening to release audio of them promising to let him leave for a 60 +10 deal.

We may not get him but i cant see him staying at Sporting now.

With regards to the CF position, there’s been rumors that Liverpool still trying to sign Isak from Newcastle, wonder if we’re trying to sign him still with Sesko/Gyork as backups

All this stuff with gyokeres just has me thinking he was the first choice and they want 100m. We thought we’d get him for the 70.

It’s just strange to me if sesko was the guy we haven’t just done the deal. Like we did with Declan.


And if I’m Newcastle I’m not selling for one cent less than the fee Wirtz got to Liverpool.


But I do find the language around these cf transfers strong. Maybe lost in translation. But you have a president accusing an agent and player of blackmail than the other agent saying we won’t hold them hostage.

It’s like, shite. These are criminal acts. Blackmail and hostages?

What if we did the Isak deal but didn’t bring another forward?


My thinking behind why we wouldn’t do Isak is because we need more than a center forward and we could get two quality players for his price.

I just think we are stingy as frick.

The club let the league slip, league cup, fa cup and CL by not doing business in January.

And watch us end up with a Watkins anyway.


Every person in the footballing world knows Arsenal need a forward. None of them need to be taking the bottom dollar from us. Nearing the end of the window we are going to be the more desperate ones to buy vs other clubs desperate to sell their best forward.
