All Odegaard leads is the press. He's awesome at that but even that has sucked recently.

I hate criticizing him this season but he's let us down and hidden all year. This isn't the same dude I saw the last 2 years

But yes Rice, Big Gabi, and Saka are the true leaders here. I even add Ben White to that.

Calafiori was great last night, shame he’s missed about half the season.

Adds so much juice to that LHS

Yeah those guys are brutal. It is the worst going from Peter Drury calling a game with a crazy moment and then hearing it back via the Arsenal channels and it is the most dull sounding moment

yes and no.

Only chelsea and manu have spent more than us in the PL.

Also the argument is there that Edu and Arteta had a big argument over the summer signings.

Arteta won the power struggle.

We needed a forward, and we brought in Sterling. Who was worse than Willian. Worst arteta signing.

We have also signed a GK every season. With that first season bringing in Runarson and Matt Ryan. So we average more than 1 GK a year.

Watching Arsenal go to the long throw in as a plan B was embarrassing for a club of this stature. We have become a set piece team that cant defend set pieces. That is on the manager. Not the board.

Pretending Arsenal hasn’t spent money is a meme.

They have spent money. They have backed Arteta.

Just because he spent the money on the same 3 positions over and over again doesn’t mean he hasn’t been supported.

You spent 30 million on a gk that doesn’t play for us and 30m on a midfielder that doesn’t play for us.

There’s your forward rt there. That’s your Nico Williams money.

The recruitment has to be better.

My ONLY hold up with Gyorkores is he is not good in the air.

Now, if we move to more transitional based team, he is perfect.

My preferred is Etikite, check out aged 22 seasons for both him & Isak

Wtf did you want us to do at keeper? We sold Rammers so we had to bring in a backup. Are you complaining that we brought Neto in on loan? Bringing in Sterling on a cheap loan deal is whatever. We needed the help, but the dude is just washed at this point

We also invested heavily in our defensive half because injuries there the previous 2 years have pretty much costed us the title with guys like Saliba, big gabi, Timber, Zinny, etc etc etc.

I'm absolutely not disagreeing with the need for attacking help, but the board absolutely botched the opportunity to get Watkins in January

Here we go from Fab for Zubimendi. First signing of the summer! LINK

Arsenal agree deal to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, here we go! ???? Zubimendi has now verbally agreed to sign a long term deal… so formal steps must follow soon with Arsenal to trigger €60m clause. Zubi, ready to become the first signing of the new season.

Glad they are getting some business done early.

Would be nice to have most of it done before the end of June

Yeah, we definitely need to win this weekend.

Southampton drew vs City. Would like to not HAVE to win that game the last week to get top 5

Tell that to Man City right now. We have proven over the years that NO game for us is a guaranteed W.

Man City dropping points against Southampton was a nice surprise that nobody expected to happen. Will gladly take it.

If we get a result tomorrow, we are almost for sure gonna get 2nd which is the goal at this point with 3 games left until the summer.

We are just 1 win from qualifying for the champions league or 2 draws which may seem more likely

I will literally not be upset one bit if we lose this game today

a win at anfield would be awesome considering they haven’t won a PL game there since Podolski was on the team

but then again Bournemouth was able to secure their first victory ever at the emirates last week

Maybe arsenal can break the streak like Bournemouth did
