Yes and if he registers by midday tomorrow, he can play against United.

Agreed. 7 goals in 17 apps ain't bad at all with the goal distribution we've shown so far. Proven PL commodity. Let's Go!

Very happy with that transfer. The depth we truly need at the winger position and proven in the PL.
All we need now is a backup for Partey and another RB once Cedric leaves and we are golden for a run at the Premier League Title.
Not sure how feasible the later 2 is, but glad to get someone in this January considering we didn't last January and our young players weren't fully ready yet to finish the season.
This year just has a different feel to it. Big one to watch today as Spurs and Man City go at it. Really want Spurs to win, but let's be honest. They have no shot.

That’s actually pretty good.
My only issue with this player is he just has that sick child look. And he’s delt with various injuries.
But if he can continue his form, 7 goals and 2 assists, with also 100+ premier league games under his belt, this is a good complimentary buy to our already super talented forward line.

Don't we have some youth RBs that look promising? I wish AMN would have accepted being a back-up at multiple positions, as he would be very useful. We do need a player like that for next year and European competitions.

Does Troussard have attitude problems? I feel like I heard that during the WC, but it may be because of a dysfunctional Belgium team.

He did leave a training session last week or so without permission from De Zerbi because he didn’t get the start against Liverpool. He straight up left and went to Belgium. I don’t think he should have issues with Arteta

Supposedly he and diserbi had problems.

If MA handled things the way he did with Auba, Troussard is well aware of expectations.

This was Jan 13th….
Honestly just think he was ready to make a bigger move.
And as an attacking player, if you came up to me and said Antonio contes spurs want to buy you, I’d walk out on you too.

I hope he's cool with sitting behind Martinelli. I really like the team spirit and I hope he won't upset that balance. Edu and Arteta haven't really missed yet in that regard, but we do need that depth as we go into next season.

Me too.
Only other thing, he’s right footed, so is esr and so is Martinelli.
Now that doesn’t mean all 3 of those will only play in the left. But we do use inverted wingers.
And we will soon be picking up the extra games in the week with FA cup and Europa league with barely any attacking options.
We now have 6 total for 3 spots. 2 injured or coming of injury.
Esr, Martinelli, trossard , saka, Jesus and nkhetia.

I feel like Nelson, when he did appear, played on the right, so I don't think Arteta is set on keeping players inverted.

I completely forgot we were in the EL.
Speaking of Nelson, it would be really nice if we could have an academy player and keep them for back-up roles like Man U did during their class of 92 run. Nelson is likely on his way out, but Josh Dasilva has looked good for Brentford, while we all know the story with AMN. We really need that sort of progress from our youngsters, as we can't spend like Chelsea have done.

I don't really see one. Think they're going to ride on Elneny and maybe (cringes) Sambi is lesser ties.
Getting Trossard also keeps the funds bigger for the summer. Have to feel really good about what they can offer for Declan Rice now.
Really need Spurs to tighten up and at least squeak a point out here.
Posted on 1/19/23 at 3:21 pm to Jolla
I've seen the links for Rice. How do people feel about him and for what position are we buying him for? He seems like a statue compared to Partey, who has been utterly magnificent this season, and he doesn't seem to have the offensive nous that Xhaka has relative to playing a more advanced role.
Also I really hope we don't give up on Sambi so quickly. He seems like he could excel when playing in the no. 8, but he won't have very many chances to play with the way our first-team midfield is playing.

Yeah we skipped the extra round by getting 1st.
And we most likely are in the CL next season unless something fricking crazy happens. So you will need “starters” for the group games.
