And we most likely are in the CL next season unless something fricking crazy happens. So you will need “starters” for the group games.

We keep our 2.5 ppg rate, we should hit 72 points in the next 10 games, which seems like the threshold for assuring ourselves the top 4.

I'm still uneasy about Troussard's attitude. Outside of Zinchinko and Jesus, it seems like it has been pretty rare for Arteta's signings to understand the system immediately. Hopefully Troussard's experience will help him adapt quickly.

Getting Trossard also keeps the funds bigger for the summer. Have to feel really good about what they can offer for Declan Rice now.
yeah I read something the other day about us going so high for mudryk meant we’d be losing some funds for the summer (might’ve been speculation tho). I’m really happy with this, we get a PL winger in as a backup for relatively cheap by todays numbers. Lets us have more money for hopefully Rice and *crossing my fingers* Mac Allister in the summer. Be great if we could get that young RB from Spain in this month too

I was thinking about this, but I never heard anything under Potter. He had a couple of groin injuries but that was it.

And if it was something like pushing for a move, well look at mudryk. He’s basically saying come and get me out of here on social media.

And as I had pointed out, the issue we are speaking of happened 1 week ago.

This again from Jan 13 after teams were looking to sign him and his contract is running up.

Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano · Follow Leandro Trossard agent Comhair: “De Zerbi has indicated several times that a transfer of Leandro is most reasonable solution”. ???? #BHAFC “It’s important that Brighton cooperate this January with a potential immediate transfer, which is beneficial for both parties”.

I think he wanted a move and Brighton were being stubborn.

He was on shite wages at Brighton, so we won’t have to break the bank and we get him for 3 years.

Yeah that might be it. We've been playing so well that I guess I'm inventing reasons to be worried.

Yes and I could be inventing why this is such a better deal than mudryk because I just wanted us to get a forward that basically you could trust to come off the bench or start in a pinch rt now.

But I really do think he just wanted out.

“Leandro Trossard wants to leave Brighton and feels he has been “humiliated” by Roberto De Zerbi, according to a statement released by the player’s agent on Friday.”

I shite yall not, I think we could win the Europa League with a front 4 of Eddie, ESR, Trossard, Viera. Would be amazing.

I do not want Martinelli and Saka to play Thursdays and Sundays in the lead in to our title push.

The Murdyk deal was one for now and the future. But this is clearly short-term and he is a versatile attacker. I don't think the winger's job in Arteta's system is super complicated, but the interchange that the midfielders have with the wide players has been fantastic and has been so well-drilled you have to think there's something more to it. We have had wide players who couldn't adapt to it, but I'm hopeful. Edu and Arteta have like a 90% clip in the market at this point.

He’s also scored against all the big teams, City, Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and the turds.

Chef Edu is fricking COOOOOOKING

Arsenal sign LCB Jakub Kiwior from Spezia in Serie A for a little more than 20 million Euros.

Cover for Gabriel and I think he may play LB too. Not fully positive.

Another out of the blue transfer. I think we need one more in midfield and if we get it, we win the league.

Edu is MOVING. Jakub Kiwior. Polish CB for $20 mil.

Basically a left footed backup for Gabriel which I am okay for. We are beefing up that Europa League squad in order for our starters to focus on this Premier League Title. I am happy for it. He also plays CDM for his club so he can be a backup for Partey. I suppose it depends on what Arteta has for him.

He starts for his club and started every game for Poland in the World Cup so that's fantastic news.

Apparently we are about to also go get a RB from Real Valladolid. Ivan Fresenda since Cedric is about to head to Fulham.

3 January transfers would be insane considering we were starving for players this time last year

CM depth still worries me, but I'm down with the signings so far.

The Polish guy doubles as a defensive center mid I read, so cover for Partey.

But yes I still would like to add another starting caliber center mid, as I think Lokonga is still a few years away.

Noice. This is the first time we’ve spent big in the winter window since beautiful Andrei Arshavin, I think.

The action in the January market really picked up quick for us. All of it makes a ton of sense.

Really just bummed our game isn’t tomorrow, gotta wait another day for some beautiful football.

Let’s right the wrongs on Sunday. COYG!
