Props to Xchaka and a perfectly timed slide tackle that definitely saved a goal, he also got the hell beat out of him and didn’t lose his cool.
Ben White was also excellent all game. Big O and Martinelli were great as almost always, Ramsdale was back to his solid self and got another clean sheet. Very satisfying performance.
And this game illustrates perfectly why I only played one year of soccer, you elbow me in the back of the head like that and I am swinging. I hated all those cheap shots every game, and intentional shin kicks etc by little squirrelly bastards, so I went back to the brutality of football, where I can legally retaliate, or would retaliate on the next play for such bullshite. Hotheads like me had no place in soccer. (Lol(

My bad, i meant moving into a club I hate. You guys acted like it was the WWE out there. And congrats, you are now owned by an oil nation and shouldnt have to be thugs on the pitch.
This match might have gone a diff way but odegaard showed up and he did the one thing Arteta and the fans have asked from him and thats to shoot. And then we were up for it.
