If Arsenal were serious they would go get Jesus and either gakpo or gnabry and a starting cm. And that’s the very least.
Some other signings depend on who comes back. Xhaka needs to go, Pepe, torreira, Nelson, Leno, id honestly take bellerin over Cedric for one season but both can go.

i agree but we need an old timer bad arse to help keep in kids in line. maybe Xhaka can fill that role and play very very limited minutes. (I can’t believe I am actually making a post to keep him but hell must have frozen over or maybe it’s just my covid brain)

Looks like Arsenal are buying Fabio Viera from Porto. Out of nowhere. 21 year old attacking mid. 20 goals and assists in 27 appearances. Plus, gotta love the last name. COYG.

So does this rule out Tielemans? He was going to be an expensive addition. I know nothing about Viera other than he's listed as an attacking mid. Wonder how suits him with Odegaard and ESR already taking some time there.

I don’t think so. Different players. He is most like Oodegard. A little quicker and also left footed. But is very good with his right. Truly a two footed player.

Not at all. I'm still like 90% expecting Tielemans and Gabriel Jesus.
I also don't think Tielemans will be that expensive all things considered. I saw quotes of 25 million euros to 35. That is robbery and you 100% take that all day long.

Oh really, I was seeing 50, and for that price I was pretty much against it.
Either way, whoever we add needs to be done before the final week. Can't afford to add someone just days before the first match like last season with a tough Palace away fixture out the gate.

I’m still iffy about Gabriel Jesus. Hopefully I’m wrong but I’ve never seen the guy play consistently. And I know us and city are 2 different levels but for them to lose Aguro and them desperately look for a replacement is telling I think.

Sounds like we’re going to have a busy summer. We need it considering we had only 17 senior players.
Need to get rid of a new dead weight that we sent out on loan last year. Bring in a few names.

If you sign him and tielemens, I don’t see how we keep Xhaka. Because this guy could play either 8.
If the rumors of Martinez are true I like what we are trying to do. He can play left back or left cb. So with one signing you can really solidify the back with holding being your last option to back up the back ups.

Not to me. They won the league again and last season it was kane or no one. Now they got Haaland. You are talking about the elite of the elite strikers they were going for, they weren’t trying to replace Lacazette. Not many teams could afford either of those transfers. And Jesus is our level rt now, which is much better than anything we have or could get.
Basically they weren’t desperate. They only were looking for the best.

Gabriel Jesus has 56 caps for Brazil at age 25. That is fricking surreal for anyone really. Hardest team to get into in the history of international sports.
He is pretty great at pressing too and is the perfect age. I'm just glad we haven't been linked to a single old fricker. I love the under 25 or 26 links. Edu and Arteta learned the hard way but they learned.
In total I think we spend 125 mil this summer and 150 possibly if we get some fees for some our players like AMN, Reiss (my sweet prince), Pepe, etc...

Im trying to not get excited but if we sign jesus, rafinha, martinez and tielemens plus the 3 that have already signed. I think we mean business and are actually trying to really move this club forward.
