We've all known what we needed prior to the season start. A left back, 2 center mids, and another striker.
The club got a left back who is making himself unplayable with his costly mistakes, only 1 center mid who is incredibly young and not yet suited to the physical EPL, and they picked up no striker.
All that lack of depth, especially with AFCON, and the injuries has severely hampered the club. Not sure if that is an ownership, scouting, management, Arteta issue but it has cost the club a couple spots in the table currently.
This is with Eddie saying he wanted out of the club, Laca out of contract, and still nothing done over Winter window.

I think last game was just the straw. They did go out and buy players but Arteta still reverted back to what didn’t work last season.
I know he changed it up but the gas is out of the team now. Done fricked up.

You get what you pay for (unless you are ManU!) Otherwise the correlation between payroll and table position is almost perfect. And Kroenke isn’t going to open up the checkbook, so Arsenal isn’t going to be a Top 4 side. Again, look what Chelsea did to the same Saints just last week. Complete mismatch. Wonder why they have no glaring holes on their roster? EPL Payroll

I guess us shitting the bed made people want to sell their tickets to the Leeds game
Finally was able to snag 2 tickets from the Arsenal ticket exchange... In the club level right at midfield

You mofos ready to take another L tonight?
This is our game is hand so it is a must win IMO, IDC if it's Chelsea or not.
I think it's 2-0 Chelsea tonight with a fig like Alonso scoring or some shite.
*Please work reverse jinx

Seems that Arsenal are playing to the level of competition. The matches I don’t think we win are the ones that we play well. I’m on the reverse psychology train as well.

Tavares and Elneny starting...
White to fullback.
Martinelli replaced by ESR, but Nketiah still starting.
I dunno lads, Arsenal have been struggling for goals and now they put this lineup out there. Lukaku also starting, wonder if Tavares can hold up.

we would have been better off going the Mourinho chelsea route and just parking the bus the last few weeks. We really fricked up and our form is 15th in the table.

In hindsight 0-0 would have been better than the losses. Brighton they definitely were the better/more attacking side, but Palace Arsenal looked as bad as I can remember.

Yeah we were pretty shite in that first half against palace but two points against brighton and southampton are looking better than none. Now if we go out and win this game I will think we have a slight chance still. But i just doubt we get anything here.

A loss or draw here takes 4th out of Arsenal's control, which sucks considering how we all felt one month ago.
The Southampton match is the one that chaps my arse the most. They went all out to score and still couldn't make it happen.

here is the thing, Arsenals highest paid players were all let go. We have massively reduced our payroll. Plus chelsea has has like 40 people ou ton loan. I would have to look at player for player. Like they didnt spend a shite ton on someone like kante, arsenal could have easily signed him but Arsene went with xhaka. And just pointing out they spent big on like a kepa and a lukaku that dont play a lot.
And i just hope chelseas new owners or whatever dont spend as much. Which is a way into the top 4 for a club like arsenal.
Andnnnnnnn goooooalllllllll. Edddiiieeeee

frick such a fricking arsenal goal to give up

Great stroke of luck to get the goal from Eddie, then he has an easy give away that leads to Werner's goal.
Highest paid guy is still Pepe right? Whom Arteta clearly doesn't rate that highly.

I think laca now.
But basically what i was getting at was look how much closer we were last season in overall payroll to chelsea but finished 8th.
Its not the lack of spending, its poor recruitment.

That was poor from him but seems like white was fouled. I know they checked but didnt get a good second look at that situation before the goal.
And been a couple of other fouls i feel like the card should have come out. Like the one on Tavares.
Okay that was 100% a foul from mason mount on white which leads to the goal.

I feel either way Saka and/or White could have cleared that ball easily enough.
Arsenal need to capitalize. Chelsea looked pretty poor that half, and their backups showed. Havertz can come on and replace the invisible Lukaku. Their center backs seem a big weakness right now, and Kante is continuing his poor run of form too.
