Apparently PSG scored late.

Damn. PSG still has to play Ludogorets the final matchday, and potentially make up that goal differential, assuming Arsenal were to only Tie with PSG next match.

We've got Ozil...
Mesut Ozil...
I just don't think you understand...
He's Arsene Wenger's man,
He's better than Zidane
We've got Mesut Ozil...

What a finish. Looked like Arsenal of old there for a minute.

Some poor defending from Mustafi past two games.

Xhaka is a good player. But damn, some of his tackles I just don't like.

Also think at times they get too narrow with Ramsey and sanchez both coming in.

Couldn't agree more. Mustafi has had some errors, but today Jenkinson and Gibbs were just so bad I couldn't really focus on Mustafi's poor play.

Don't blame Arsene for the lineup. World-class teams should have the depth to compete for multiple trophies. Any time Ozil and Sanchez are on the pitch, we should beat a side like Ludo with less suspense than this game.

Fun game to watch, though we are lucky we didn't get caught on the counter for the tying or winning goal. Should have had the fullbacks play more conservatively with Nacho and Hector out.

Ramsey looked like what he should be unless we're riddled with injuries--a sub.

Equalizing assist and his second stint after being out five weeks. Also, playing in his non-preferred position. Not sure we could even possibly seen his best yesterday.

This just isn't true. The UCL on the road is an incredibly tough competition to get points. APOEL Nicosia made the quarters two years ago. Anything can happen on a European night.

I didn't really see mustafi's bad play. i guess he let a guy get in front of him on the 2nd goal. but gibbs got juked to the ground on that same goal. it was terrible.

I don't know anything about Jenkinson because i wasn't following arsenal 3 years ago but that guy isn't good.

I don't think that would be possible considering we didn't really start a winger on either side. If the fullbacks didn't get forward, we would have basically only been using the middle 3rd of the field.

Another thing I noticed with the positioning is Xhaka and Coq line up in what you would think would be the opposite of how it should be. With Xhaka's penchant for long passes, he plays deeper. This puts Coq further upfield in a position where he doesn't really help us. Instead of playing in front of the back four, he is past the midfield circle when we have the ball. I am not as knowledgeable about soccer tactics as most on this board, but I wonder if that may be a reason we were killed on the break most of the game.

Coq plays up the field so that he can win the ball high up the field during transition phases. That's when he presses the hardest.

Jenkinson isn't that good on the ball but he's fast (or was fast) and can be a decent enough defender. He also has a fairly decent ball in.

Santi doubtful for Sunday. Bellerin, Theo, and Monreal should be available.

UK channel. You can ignore that. It will still be on one of the NBC's.

So, what will Wenger do? The back 4 should be set. I doubt Gibbs plays over Monreal. With Santi out, it seems Xhaka has to play next to Coq. I guess he could play El Neny, but that would be disappointing considering what was expectedof Xhaka when he was bought. Obviously, Ozil, Alexis, and Theo will be out there. The real question is how Arsene feels about Iwobi's current form. Giroud has 3 goals in two games, but him playing drastically changes what has worked in the PL this entire season. I'd like to see Iwobi get the start so we can bring on Giroud as the super sub that he has proven to be if we need him.

Could see Ox getting the start over Iwobi
