This escalated quickly. And now Iwobi and Ramsey off with injury

Guess it's good I have been dealing with flooding all day and can't watch.

Yeah, frick this. I've got water in my house and trying to help coordinate 190 elderly folks. No need to watch this trash.

Holy shite we're going to have another 4-4

frick Sadio Mane and his garbage celebration.

Well that was disappointing. Always knew this would be tough with our defensive injuries but it was still rough to watch. We controlled the first half and the second half was just a completely different story. Monreal kept getting beat or caught out of position.
Our offensive positioning was also poor. Theo and Sanchez stayed too narrow and seemed hesitant to make lateral runs to open up space.
Any idea why Xhaka didn't start?

just my opinion, but he looked off the pace when he was on...
Some shitty defending and some great goals.. entertaining, if not heart attack inducing, game..

Or chamberlain? Wenger is done. Same old shite. Getting booed at home. Have only won 1 opening game out of last 7, first time giving up 4 goals at home in a long time.
This team is just full of vaginas(excluding coquelin) and dudes made of glass.

It was definitely entertaining but it's hard to accept your team giving away four unanswered goals.
Xhaka did not look great when he was on.
Ox's passing was terrible but he was responsible for one of the goals so that was nice.
Our communication on the field appears to be abysmal though.
Santi looked good.

It will be a frustrating close to the window and a year of ups and downs. They'll look capable to challenge the title but fold. CL RO16 exit. Arsenal will pull it together and secure top 4, links to good players will ensue and we will all drink the kool aid once again. The cycle repeats.
Frustrating but it's the same thing year after year.

How long before this Arsene/Stan transfer indifference starts to negatively impact the team in place?
There appears to be something to the rumors that Sanchez and Ozil are unhappy.
How soon before they ship out--the January window?

Ozil and Sanchez leaving in January is being a bit sensational.
I do believe those two expect a deep CL run and a PL title or they will start looking elsewhere. Losing either of those two would undo all the work Arsenal have done to move in the right direction since the RVP sale.

It's frustrating and it's game 1. Again, injuries plague this team and deals get done too late if at all. Same shite every year.

It's happened again, it's happened again....

Our defensive shape continues to be shite. Watch the Lallana goal again. Elneny, our deepest midfielder most of the game, is our highest. Ramsey doesn't track the run, and doesn't follow it up either. So he doesn't tackle the cutback forced by Bellerin.
Third goal was just poor from Monreal and Holding.
Fourth goal Monreal is caught out and Chambers takes a terrible angle.
We pressed with our front three today but still played a low block in the back. So midfield was wide open for Liverpool.
Arsene lacks the defensive nous and the transfer balls to get us anywhere anymore. Top 4, round of 16, rinse, repeat.

Plus Stan hindering spending, but yeah I agree.
