meh. I mean i'm excited that we don't have to rely on Sanogo to score but we needed Giroud to be the backup when he comes back, not a slightly worse replacement.

I like it as a move for depth, but given the current injury situation to have him as the front man for Arsenal match after match I am a little disappointed he's the most talented player we could get as a CF.

I'm not worried about attack nearly as much as DM and CB. If Welbeck is in we have loads of attacking options, especially at full health.

With as many competitions we have to not have strengthened the core of the defense is inexcusable. Wenger's decision to not immediately sub an obviously concussed Kos cost us two points yesterday.

Yup, if all we get is Welbeck today I am resigned to fighting tooth and nail for 4th yet again, unless of course we can somehow get healthy and remain that way.
