Yeah, according to twitter and the daily mirror or whatever. And they could definitely use Ozil. They have shite at CM, because Kagawa seems to be largely irrelevant for some bizarre reason.

I mean they almost lost Rooney bc Van Persie took his preferred role as the pure striker. Imagine how unhappy he would be if they brought in Ozil to play his second best position as a number 10. Not to mention they just bought kagawa for a ton of money to play the 10 and, despite him not playing early this year, there were no signs of him transferring away

Apparently with the ozil acquisition Chelsea didn't want to strengthen what they now consider a league contender

When this squad is at full strength, it is a top 5 team. Adding Özil, made them a contender for number 1. Hopefully they get healthy and flex their muscles. They are an incredible team and it seems as though they are very underrated.
