Gotcha. So I guess we will keep our faith in Szczesny or at least not spend much on keeper.
Our only other possibilities this window are backup striker and what? Are we still trying to land a center back, or a winger?

working on a backup striker. di maria deal is dead. tv5 is back training. with baccy, we aren't desperate there anymore

Yeah assuming we don't suffer more than our usual rash of injuries I could see us fine in the backline, so long as Verm makes it back soon.
Its a shame about Di Maria, I feel that his play from the wing would offer us something great.
I just saw the backup striker musings over a Ba loan. Crazy how he's fallen from a starter to backup for so cheap in such a short amount of time even for a club without great striker production in Chelsea.

Well Ba is a very average player. Runs the channels well but he's not better than Giroud. He was always a stop gap for Chelsea as well. He's a solid back-up though.

This is what we need. Adding depth is the key here. We don't need to "replace" anyone, its merely adding options and backup that will turn Arsenal into an "elite" squad.

They don't want him, he's too expensive and they already have Rooney and Kagawa that play his role. They want a CM not. a CAM, and it looks like they just got one with Fellaini.
