The good..... we have a plethora of young attacking talent. I was extremely impressed with the confidence and ability of these guys. Some of them will definitely be loaned out to get some first team minutes but it is going to be a tough decision on who goes and who stays.
We are severely lacking a box to box and attacking center mid. Ozil only shows up about half the time and Xhaka just isn’t good enough for the position. We saw what happened at the end of last season when Ramsey was hurt. (Torreira and Guendouzi are not currently playing)
The bad... the defense is shite. If the other teams could finish, those games would have been much much different. Socrates is the only player that should actually be starting for this team. If Mustafi is our starting center back for the first half of the season, you can kiss the top 4 goodbye. Monreal has lost a step and AMN is playing out position.
The first priority for the transfer window should be a CB and then outside back. Another winger would be great but the defense and offensive center mid are much more important imo.

Mustafi is such trash. I feel for him because he seems like a nice German guy that just doesn't have a position because of his size and speed combo.

But good God man, this is your chance to shut people up and you still can't play cb. I saw a clip recently and it was mustafi basically taking the ball down the right, beating the players in front of him, then he boots the fricking ball out of the stadium trying to cross it. That's the player he is.

I'm really digging nketiah. I hope we don't loan him and just play the guy.

Now rethinking, we are pretty screwed on defense. Monteal is too old be at lb in a 4 and Amn is not a rb. I think we could live with our cbs if we had better full backs. But you can't play mustafi and Ainsley on one side.

I do like Martinelli. I was impressed with videos I saw of him, but he's continued to show as a guy that will attack the goal. If he had scored that last night the fans would be overreacting. He seems confident in his game, something that we need from the young players.

FROM ORNSTEIN !
quote:

Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign Real Madrid and Spain U21 midfielder Dani Ceballos on loan for 2019-20 campaign. With William Saliba also set to complete move from Saint Etienne before returning there on loan next season, big week for #AFC in transfer market #RMFC #ASSE

Lets go!!!!!! Need one CB still and preferably a wing back.

So y’all would really be opposed to getting Bale on loan?? If we could get rid of Ozil and bring Bale we would have an unstoppable attack

I dont think anyone is opposed to getting Bale, however there are a few points of contention.

1) Think Real want to permanently get rid of him.

2) He's on something like £500,000 per week. And it sounds like he doesn't want to move if he has to take a pay cut. That's not even considering the transfer fee.

3) He played for Spurs. And while Bale never showed any real affinity/love for Tottenham, I'd still find it hard to believe that he would openly want to play for Arsenal.

That was a complete BS red card. How on any planet does that get called? Sokratis had possession!

Asensio and Marcello are dominating the Arsenal defense.

Hard to gauge, since the 1st half Arsenal were up a man for 30 minutes.

Nketiah gets himself into good positions, needs some work finishing though.

Looks good. Wearing #8 and should start many games this season. I like our midfield options tbh.

You are easily the best Spurs fan I've ever come across. You know your soccer and are very friendly. Hope a spot opens up for you in TD fantasy.
