What players were called up for this shitty international break?

Overmars just extended at Ajax too. No idea who they are linked with at the moment.

Who knows what the hell the Kroenke's are doing. I'm wagering that they are going to cut the wage bill as much as they can, but we've been punching above our weight for around 13 years now. The way the stadium was handled by shareholders was utterly shameful. Saddling the club with long-term debt, while at the same time increasing club revenues ensured their shares wouldn't lose value, which was the wrong decision for the club, as with other funding avenues, the stadium could have been paid by now.
That's no longer important, as the stadium debt will be serviced within the decade (by 2028), but that stadium debt is the source of all our problems. It also showcases the pattern of mismanagement from the board since the early noughties. Here's a detailed breakdown of our substandard economic performance. LINK
The fact that Wenger's coaching performance through the stadium fiasco won't be recognized long-term is shameful. Our football philosophy at that point was, "Let Wenger find a miracle," which he did between 2005 and 2014. Wenger bought poorly once Arsenal could afford better players, as Sanchez ruined the squad dynamics with his personality and ball-holding, Mustafi has been subpar, Ozil is a temperamental talent that thrives on runners, and Xhaka has to have the side designed around him to mitigate his weaknesses.
My hope is that the academy can produce a miracle, because that will be the only thing that will save us from long-term mediocrity.

We have to have this. But damn, Iwobi and AMN are from the youth system and are growing in confidence. Iwobi is just a diff player now, strong, drives at people, it's really great to see.

Time to smash Newcastle and grab 3rd. Here comes 10 straight PL wins at The Emirates. Please have Ozil, Ramsey and Xhaka together.

Five weeks ago, I would have laughed. But with those assholes there is always a chance.

I keep having this nagging thought about how much better a 5 point gap would be if Auba had slotted home that penalty in the NLD.
