Like I’m so heated right now. A club with the highest ticket prices in Europe, and top 5 most wealthy should not be trying to low ball LOAN offers.

Goal in the first minutes of the game. Not unexpected with this back we have. Kola has no idea who to defend. Mustafi probably fouled Sergio A in the minutes after go uncalled in the box. First goal is on Iwobi

And Aguero punches the ball in for 3-1.

Time to buy some defenders.

But we finally get to see Mavro lol we really need to sell one of our strikers for funds for the defense

Also it’s obvious Suarez isn’t use to the physicality of the premier league

I don’t want to judge Suarez too early, it was his first game.
However our defense is dreadful and the fact they didn’t go after a right back blows my mind.

We really need to off-load Ozil ....and Kroenke. Please let the Rams lose.

not shocked about the result,
not going to win with players who were brought in for depth and instead are starting...are there not any up and coming stars in the academy system?

this team has played like a tier two team that brings in tier one money but spends like theyre a tier three team

Iwobi looked good today. Need more of that.

We need major defensive overhaul. AMN is not a fullback. I've said this before, he lacks positional awareness without the ball playing out there. And mustafi is straight trash. I don't see how anyone can watch him play and think he's a CB. Worst signing we've ever made. Against a decent squad, his mistakes would have led to a loss.

To be a lil more positive. I love laca. Dude works hard every match.

Clive made a good point on the last Arsenal Vision pod that Mustafi was a fullback coming up and probably got moved to CB because of his body type and lack of speed. He just has no sense of how to be a CB. Positioning is terrible, tackles terribly. The sooner we’re rid of him the better. I always rated Gabriel and wished we’d have kept him over mustafi. He wasn’t amazing and he had his share of mistakes but he was on a way better deal and was tough and tenacious and better than Mustafi.

Iwobi was good. He’s so frustrating in the final third but he’s quality. If he can improve 10 percent in the final third and be more consistent he can be really quality.

That is a good point, but I'm still not ready to give up on him. Maybe it's just because he looks the part of what you want in a CB in a possession-oriented system. Mustafi is pretty good at ball-playing, and his positioning could be fixed, but he needs a partner next to him who will tell him where to go. He also needs a partner who will let him be the covering defender.

He's not good at the moment, but I see lots of promise. It's just his mistakes are big mistakes. His issues are all mental too. Can Emery fix him? Probably not. Could a team committed to the low-block use him? Probably. We won't be that team though.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I read an article stating we’re slated to only have 50M available in the summer transfer window? RUBBISH

We’re going to need 2 new defenders, atleast 1 attacking mid, 1 winger. We should be able to clear some wages by offing Ozil, Ramsey, Elneny, Nacho but 50 is child’s play. frick OFF KRONKE

Ive always thought Mustafi was the German Lovren.. and what you have said is basically what VVD was for Lovren... don't get me wrong, he's still shite, but that is covered up a lot playing next to Virgil...

they said this on the telecast of the game too, not sure where they are getting this info. Ornstein had said he didn’t get a specific number but was hearing it’s around 100mil. I would imagine there will be a siginificant offloading of players as well.

adidas deal kicks in too.

With Ramsey and Ozil heading out (can’t believe we are giving them away free with our money issues), we need a creative attacking midfielder like David Silva to get Laca and Auba into spaces to score goals.
Obviously we need a right back and a more athletic CB to pair with our older experienced CBs Kos and Socrates.
Should be an interesting summer.

Yea we need to spend big(for our budget) on a quality CB and a CM that can create. Also need a LB(Monreal is old and Kolasinac is still a liability defensively), a winger(depending on how Suarez works out), a backup RB, and possibly a second CB(depending on if we sell Chambers). To fill those positions we will need more smart value signings like Sokratis and Guendouzi.

Mustafi has to go. Ozil too since we aren't going to play him. Others we should consider selling would be Elneny, Mhki, and possibly Chambers if Emery doesn't rate him. We have a nice group of youngsters who can maybe make the step up and become squad players.
