Our season at Playmakers in Covington just started this week.

I love playing indoor but the one in New Orleans is so far away from anything

I have in the past. May try and get another team together soon.

Got a game tonight.
Pros:
-It's a blast
-It doesn't cost an arm and a leg
-Several levels of competition, so players of any talent/experience can find a place to play and enjoy it
Cons:
-The facility is in St. Gabriel
-The league can be a bit disorganized, i.e. teams not showing up with enough players and you drive all the way out to St. Gabriel for a no show.
-Game times. It hasn't been a problem for me recently, but in the past I've had 11 p.m. games on week nights. For those of us who get up at 6 or 7 for work, that's a bitch, not just because of the lateness of the game or distance of the facility, but also the fact that it takes me an hour to wind down after a game and get the adrenaline levels low enough for sleep.

My son and his buddies that played together in high school play in one of the St. Gabriel indoor leagues
I think there are 3 levels of teams and each is on a different night of the week.
If you don't have enough people for a team I think you can still sign up and they will try to place you with a team (not sure if its a season long placement or week by week).
I think the new season just started up his week.

I play at playmakers in Covington as well. Love it.

St. Gabriel's season started this past week. It's like $10 a game, but if you pay everything up front it's cheaper. It's pretty fun, each night of the week is a different division. They have a coed league too.

Is the league you play in run by an organization?
I did one a couple years back with games at a gym off Siegen. Forgot who set it up though

Hows the talent level? May look into it for a fall league

I think it's something like $60.00 for a "season" which is maybe 8 games or so?
OP: Even though the leagues started this past week, I'd still try to give them a call if you are interested. I think the guy that runs that place is always looking for more business and may work with you.

I used to play in an indoor league when I lived in Charleston. It was a lot of fun. The facility even had a snack bar that had buckets of beer (for after the game or when watching other games).

I played in St Gabriel, moved, then cane back and my team doesn't play anymore. Wouldn't mind going again. The times were brutal sometimes. Its not the late games, but the early slots. Id leave work and get there to play like 5-10 mins. Wasn't worth the hike in traffic just to get warmed up basically. But I've been thinking about just getting on a random team. One season we only had the early slot once, so it would be worth it if all I had to miss was one game.

First season I jumped in mid way. The gave me a prorated fee, but the budds I joined with lost some players to injury and weren't getting enough people to show up so he let me and 2 others join so they wouldn't have to just forfeit games. He was even saying if I hadn't joined he was going to play with them.

Make sure you play on a team with plenty of subs or prepare to be extremely winded.
