Too bad Keiler Garcia is 25, is cap-tied to Cuba, and has only played for them 5 times. So, not sure it's a huge loss for them (or gain for anyone else). But, for his trouble, I hope he lands at a decent NASL or MLS team.

Something like that? I guess the gk is like an outboard motor or something. Intriguing formation but it seems like you might give up control of the central midfield.

No, you concede the flanks and play both pairs of 2 centrally. I should not know how this works, but the high school I attended (and where my younger brother was playing his senior year) fired the only head coach they've ever had in 18 years without a replacement. 5 of the guys played on the shittiest rec team ever with this dumb bitch of a coach who played this formation (a 3-4-3 with a boxed midfield). The guy who was basically forced to be the HC (and does know soccer but had never coached before) got talked into letting her come in for an advisory role to teach this magical formation (the 5 guys loved it because it let them play shitty soccer that they thought was good...and the bitch was always making up bullshite to tell them how amazing they are). "Send it" was her favorite phrase.
TL;DR: I know this shittastic formation. I don't want to. I hope the lady I know who uses it gets curb-stomped.

The missing link is that the jokingly diagrammed "raft formation" actually matched a formation that someone attempted to use in high school soccer. Sorry if that got lost in my anger.
