Tim Ream has been getting solid minutes at left back (which was actually his position in college). Might be worth throwing him into the discussion. Oh, and yeah he totally pulls off the Zorro look.

Absolutely, I was a huge Ream fan during his time in NY, good passer and an underrated athlete. He's kind of fallen back under the radar, but you have to imagine he gets a look with our glaring defensive deficiencies.
I still think that every spot but Besler's is 100% up for grabs. You have guys like Cameron and Fab, that are almost locked in as starters, but both are utility players that I wouldn't be the least bit shocked to see in a number of different positions.

You mean on the back line? Probably so. I think since it's so late in the game at this point we have to assume Cameron plays RB at the WC. That said, Ream is a good passer of the ball and I think less prone to bonehead plays than Gonzo. Plus he can play LB and DM, and we know Klinsmann values versatility. It's a shame that he wasn't able to make the Ukraine friendly, because I think he probably would have lined up next to Gooch instead of Brooks.

Yep, across the back line. If I was calling the shots, it would go...
Fabian--Besler-Gooch--Cameron
But I'm convinced Cameron will get a look at CB, and Fab very well could be moved to RB.

So he's made their TotW at least twice this season, not bad.

With an impressive 43% of the vote, John Brooks was voted Bundesliga player of the week.

Making a strong late push for that WC slot.

Hopefully he and Besler get some minutes together in the send off series to get used to playing next to each other.

I hope El Chosen Juan gets a look in the 30-man camp. I love the way he plays.

Agudelo lost his work permit appeal again. Doesn't look like he will be able to play for Stoke until he becomes a regular player with the US.

He's a free agent now. He won't be playing for Stoke ever.

Caleb Stanko at II Freiburg scored a pretty sweet goal this past weekend.

18 yo Rubio Rubin signed a professional contract with FC Utrecht.
He moved to Holland last year, but as a minor he wasn't eligible for first team minutes. Utrecht expects Rubin to play a large role within next year's squad.
Rubin has been one of our better U17 and U20 players.
