Anyone watch the ending to The Gambia vs Cameroon. Pretty wild.
Also Onana was benched for it.

I have been trying to watch, we have a bunch of African guys here. Can't get any streams to work consistently.

Mauritania getting their first dub was pretty cool to watch

When did Cape Verde become competitive? They getting all the Portuguese born that have zero shot in hell of ever even being bench players for Selecao?

Mairitania was eliminated by Cape Verde yesterday
Per wiki
Mauritania is generally seen as having a poor human rights record, and is particularly censured for the perpetuation of slavery as an institution within Mauritanian society, with an estimated 10%-20% of Mauritanians in bondage in 2012, despite slavery's abolition in 1981 and criminalization of the ownership of slaves outright in 2007.

How about that Ivory Coast comeback vs. Mali? Really cool touch goal at the end.
Talk about a new manager bounce. They're in the semifinals!

I’ve been enjoying the afcon…especially the mail Ivory Coast game. The assistant coach pouring water on the managers head had me rolling.
I don’t recall the AFCON getting this kind of media attention before. I think it will continue to get bigger and bigger

Why were the Mali players so angry at the ref?

They wanted more time added to the clock.
Nigeria Ivory Coast final will be nice

Wildest part of the whole tournament how, as the hosts, Ivory Coast barely made it through as the fourth ranked third place team in the group stage, fired their manager, and are now in the final.
My favorite thing about AFCON is how none of it ever makes sense, even by the wonky international soccer standards.
